Speaking to the North American Meat Association Outlook conference in Chicago this week, Gerry Ritz, Canada's agriculture minister, warned that his office is prepared to make good on its threats of levying tariffs against U.S. agricultural products if USDA's country-of-origin labeling rule goes into effect later this month.
