Revised meat, poultry
label rules issued by FSIS. USDA's Food Safety and Inspection
Service (FSIS) has released a final rule that will expand the
instances in which labels for domestic and imported meat and poultry
products will be generically approved, according to a notice slated
to appear in today's Federal Register. The rule will take effect 60
days after publication in the Federal Register.
