GMO-free state laws, 'all natural' litigation explored at FDLI meeting

It is only a matter of time before a mandatory labelling measure for foods with genetically modified organisms (GMOs) goes into effect, and GMO-free products such as Cheerios and now Grape Nuts show the food industry there is a market for these newly labelled foods, said Michael Hansen, senior staff scientist for Consumers Union, at a 12 February meeting sponsored by the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI).
