Reuters: Export Floor of 1.1-1.3 Million Tonnes Could End US-Mexico Sugar Dispute

A managed sugar trade accord between the US and Mexico could be near. A trade dispute pitting US sugar producers against their counterparts in Mexico could be resolved by setting a floor for Mexican exports of between 1.1 and 1.3 million tonnes per year, the head of Mexico's government-run mills said on Friday, according to a Reuters interview.
