FDA unveils FSMA training strategy

FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) training strategy, released Tuesday (Oct. 6), outlines how the agency plans to help food producers come into compliance with the new FSMA rules. Outreach and training efforts will be key components of the successful implementation of the FSMA rules and the agency has awarded a $600,000 grant to the International Food Protection Training Institute to establish a National Coordination Center, which will play a key role in training development and delivery.
