Latvia and Greece look to restrict GMO cultivation

Two more EU states - Latvia and Greece – look set to make use of the European Commission’s opt-out scheme, allowing them to restrict the cultivation of genetically modified organisms (GMO) on their territories, Agra Europe reports. Germany and Scotland have already signalled their intention in the past few days to opt out of cultivating EU-approved GM products.
