Missile Strike Kills Civilians in Ukrainian Town
A missile struck a passenger bus near the eastern Ukrainian town of Volnovakha, killing 11 civilians. It was not immediately clear whether Ukrainian forces or pro-Russian separatists were responsible for the attack, which also left 17 wounded. The bus was hit in front of a Ukrainian army checkpoint, and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko blamed separatists. Poroshenko promised to send more troops to the area beginning this week.
