EFSA backs new use for sucralose in toddler FSMPs

The European Food Safety Authority’s Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient Sources added to Food (ANS) has given a favourable opinion on an application to extend authorised uses for the food additive sucralose (E 955) when added to dietary food for special medical purposes (FSMP) intended for young children aged from one to three years.
