Threats to food hygiene caused by Brexit unlikely to materialize, firm says

Fears that Brexit could pose a major threat to food hygiene standards, with widespread deregulation of the food market, appear to have been allayed by UK government assurances, according to food safety compliance experts at Spearhead. The UK is most likely to continue using the EU’s HACCP food hygiene system once the country officially leaves the EU in March 2019, the firm says.
