FDA working to resolve kinks in FSMA rules and other issues, Ostroff says

FDA is working through a number of concerns the food industry has brought to the agency’s attention as the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is implemented, and industry should stay tuned as some of these kinks are worked out, Stephen Ostroff, FDA’s deputy commissioner for foods and veterinary medicine, said Monday (June 12) at an International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) meeting.
