Greening Payment

From 2015 onwards, a proportion of each farmer’s aid entitlement is payable conditional on fulfilment of three EU-wide requirements aimed at benefitting the climate and environment – or certain measures approved as ‘equivalent’ in terms of benefit. This ‘greening’ payment is the equivalent of 30% of each farmer’s entitlement.
