Although the EU single Common Market Organisation has been effective in supporting producers’ organisations (POs) it must do more to improve their bargaining power, manage recurring crises and make markets more transparent, a paper by the Assembly of European Regions producing Fruit, Vegetable and Ornamental Plants (AREFLH) has stated.
