Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue earned praise from industry and criticism from some food safety advocates after he announced on Thursday (Sept. 7) that he will be moving the Codex Alimentarius program (U.S. Codex Office) to USDA’s newly created Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs (TFFA) mission area.
