Crop-based biofuel producers have been urged to keep fighting for the best deal under the EU's draft directive on renewable energy (REDII) with the warning that the proposed reduction in the crop cap to 3.8% by 2030, if approved, will remove €20 billion from EU farm incomes and rural processing businesses.
