EFSA finds no safety concerns with pullulanase enzyme

A pullulanase enzyme from non-genetically modified Pullulanibacillus naganoensis (P. naganoensis – strain AE-PL) does not give rise to safety concerns, since filtration means exposure is not expected, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) concludes in an opinion published on 25 October.
