USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) will continue to focus on modernizing its inspection systems in 2018 and will finalize its enforcement strategy for reducing Salmonella at raw poultry slaughter and processing establishments, according to the agency’s Fiscal Year 2018 Annual Plan, released Friday, Dec. 1.
