Poland, Belgium move against ritual slaughter without pre-stunning

A legislative proposal to ban the ritual slaughter of animals without pre-stunning is making its way through the Polish Parliament. Two regions of Belgium passed laws earlier this year that will outlaw the practice from 2019 but lawsuits are already being set in motion to reverse these bans.
