APHIS quarantine fees to increase starting Dec. 28

Starting Dec. 28, businesses will see a sizable jump in the Agricultural Quarantine and Inspection (AQI) fees they have to pay for federal port inspections – from $95 to $142 as part of a five-year phase-in, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) said Dec. 13.
