UK could defy third country suppliers over TRQ split formula, says minister

The United Kingdom would be prepared to go ahead with a simple split of the EU’s Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQs) when it leaves the EU, even if this approach has not been agreed by its third country trading partners at the point of Brexit, the UK’s Food and Farming Minister has claimed.
