UK can stay in CAP until 2020, says MEP

The UK will be entitled to remain part of the Common Agricultural Policy until the end of 2020 under the post-Brexit transition period proposed by the European Commission – even though UK prime minister Theresa May has stated that the UK will leave the CAP at the point of Brexit in March 2019.
