UK sandwich consumption "significant contributor" to greenhouse gas emissions

The consumption of sandwiches are having a major impact on greenhouse gas emissions, according to a new study by the University of Manchester. The study found that, among other things, production of the popular “all-day breakfast” sandwich generated CO2 emissions equivalent to driving a car 12 miles.
