Tighter BPA limits to apply from 6 September

Tough new specific migration limits (SMLs) for bisphenol A (BPA) are to apply not only to plastic food contact materials but also varnishes and coatings from 6 September, although non-compliant products already on the market on that date can be sold off until stocks expire.
