MEPs call for "zero-pesticide agriculture" in wake of EFSA neonics assessment

The Socialist and Democrats (S&D) group in the European Parliament is calling for a ban on neonicotinoids as evidence from a review confirms that the pesticides are a danger to bees. Further, the S&D group, the second biggest in Parliament, wants to progress Europe to “zero-pesticide agriculture”.
