FDA denies petition to decrease serving size for Nutella and similar spreads

FDA has denied a March 2014 petition from Nutella maker Ferrero USA Inc. to decrease the serving size for nut cocoa spreads to one tablespoon. A two tbsp. serving size remains appropriate for Nutella and similar spreads, the agency said.
