Dutch announce national strategy to reduce food waste

The Government of the Netherlands has formulated a strategy to reduce food waste which, among other measures, includes launching a supermarket aisle of items made from food that otherwise would have been wasted. Innovative products on the aisles would include soap made from orange peels and beer made from leftover bakery bread.
