FSIS should withdraw criteria for poultry line speed waivers, group says

The National Employment Law Project (NELP) has fired off a letter that calls USDA’s new criteria for waivers to allow faster line speeds at poultry plants inconsistent with the agency’s waiver regulations, and says any waivers granted under the criteria would violate the Administrative Procedure Act and endanger consumers and workers.
