Days after FDA linked shelled eggs from Rose Acre Farms to an outbreak of Salmonella Braenderup, which sickened 23 people and led to the recall of more than 206 million eggs, the agency has released the Form 483 report indicating the North Carolina egg farm had an ongoing rodent infestation, ineffective pest controls, and insanitary conditions that could contribute to the spread of pathogens.
