FSIS officials explain delisting of Vietnamese catfish establishments ahead of audit

The delisting of 49 out of 62 Vietnamese catfish establishments eligible to ship products to the United States just ahead of an expected equivalency audit of Vietnam’s catfish inspection system has raised suspicion, but Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) officials say most of the delisted plants haven’t shipped product here in the last seven months.
