Aid capping could redirect up to €4bn a year to smaller EU farmers

The European Union could redistribute as much as €3.5 to 4.0 billion per year in direct aid payments if its radical proposal for a €60,000 cap on aid payments per farm is accepted as part of the 2021-27 CAP.
