Kellogg’s warned over advert targeting children using specific branding

The advertised cereal product was not high in fat, salt and sugar (HFSS) but the branding on the packaging was associated with other products deemed unhealthy for children.

Cereal maker Kellogg’s has been told it broke the rules on promoting unhealthy foods to children by using its character “Coco the Monkey” in the advertising of a granola product.
