USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue insisted in an interview that dairy policy remains a major sticking point between the US and Canada in North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) talks. Meanwhile, US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer meets today with his counterpart, European Union (EU) Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and the timing on another round of US tariffs on Chinese goods remains murky.
