After approving a series of 15 judicial nominees, the Senate left Washington Thursday until after the elections. Meanwhile, hurdles remain ahead of any meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping at next month's G20 confab and it appears the US will not label China a currency manipulator ahead of further US-China trade talks.
