After warning earlier this year on the potential dangers in handling or eating of foods prepared with liquid nitrogen immediately before consumption, FDA has released an interpretation of the 2017 Food Code that found the Food Code does not prohibit its use but warned of the risks associated with liquid nitrogen and dry ice in foods.
