USDA faced increasing pressure to identify brands of turkey that have been linked to an outbreak of the antibiotic-resistant Salmonella Reading strain that has made more than 160 people across 35 states ill over the past year. After the letters piled up, USDA announced late Thursday night a recall of ground turkey that may be linked to the illnesses.
