The European Parliament has given the green light to the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and closely linked Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) that will slash tariffs on Europe’s €5.7 billion annual agri-food exports and recognise 205 European geographical indications (GIs).
