UK standards on composition of cheeses and creams published as deadline passes

When the EU Food Information to Consumers Regulation was transposed into UK law, it was agreed that national provisions covering cheese and cream could be retained until 13th Decemebr 2018.

Two new industry codes of practices on the compositional standards for cheeses and creams have been launched following the revocation on 13th December of a number of UK regulations.
