Food and Ag Policy briefing: EU acts on US olive tariffs, sick cows in Europe, Brexit progress unclear

The EU is consulting with the WTO over US tariffs on Spanish olives, whilst Poland gets unwanted attention via a rogue abattoir slaughtering sick cows.

A spat over black olives intensified last week when the EU announced it would seek consultation with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) over tariffs imposed by the US on Spanish black olives.
