Russia threatens to impose restrictions on Brazilian soy imports

State officials claim high levels of glyphosate residues have been found in imported consignments

Russia could temporarily ban imports of soybeans and soymeal from Brazil due to concerns over “numerous cases” of high levels of the herbicide glyphosate found in shipments. But the Brazilian government insists the levels are well within safe limits.
