Up to 2,500 non-EU employees could be recruited for fruit and vegetable farms by this spring

The UK has opened its new seasonal agricultural workers pilot programme for the fruit and vegetable sector, which could see up to 2,500 non-EU migrants entering the country to work for up to six months.
