U.S. consumers could soon be eating salmon genetically modified to grow twice as fast as conventional salmon after FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb on Friday lifted import ban that had blocked AquaBounty Technologies from selling and raising its genetically engineered fish in the United States.
