The Trump administration is looking to accelerate trade talks with Japan, USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue told lawmakers. Meanwhile, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) admin Andy Wheeler said his agency may grant fewer small refiner waivers and officials at the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) were sharply critical of allegations leveled in a recent article on the new swine inspection rule.
