Nestlé hails its efforts to brake deforestation, but Greenpeace objects

Food giant says it has reached a “key milestone” en route towards its zero-deforestation commitment, particularly through the use of satellite imagery. But NGO Greenpeace says the company is not giving the full picture.

Food giant Nestlé has announced that 77% of its agricultural commodities are now verified as “deforestation-free”. But environmental organisation Greenpeace has been quick to dispute the claim.
