The 2018 Farm Bill commits the United States to a package of measures designed to support US farmers’ incomes, conserve and enhance the rural environment, and provide food assistance to America’s poorer citizens. In all, the various programs contained with Bill will cost the federal government a projected $867 billion over the next 10 years.
