Effective fall armyworm strategy needed for Chinese corn and other crops

Pest has spread rapidly since the start of the year from Yunnan in southern China to Guangxi, Guangdong and possibly other provinces

Fall armyworm is destroying maize (corn) fields across Southern China, heightening calls to find an effective solution to this voracious pest, which is the larval form of the armyworm moth. It can breed rapidly over great distances, and is very difficult to eradicate, with no large-scale solution yet identified.
