“No East-West” food prejudice in the EU, study finds

A study carried out by the European Commission finds no evidence of same-branded foods sold in western EU countries having a different composition when sold in eastern EU states. But the study found widespread labelling inconsistencies.

The European  Commission has released a study which sought to establish whether Eastern European EU countries were eating poorer quality, same branded products than Western EU countries.
