USDA to issue rule addressing undue preferences provision in GIPSA rules

The Farmer Fairness Practices rules – also known as the Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) rules – will come up for discussion this summer, as USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is gearing up to issue a proposed rule addressing the "undue preferences" provision of the Packers and Stockyards Act (P&SA) of 1921.
