A 10-strong group of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) is calling on MEPs to throw out an amendment aimed at banning vegan and vegetarian products bearing meat-sounding names, such as vegan sausage, veggie burger, quorn nuggets, seitan steak or broccoli schnitzel.
