The US Cattlemen's Association is asking Commodities and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairman Heath Tarbert to hold a summit with cattle industry stakeholders to hear their concerns over "complexities and irregularities" in the futures market, and warning of "the potential for undue profiteering" in the wake of a major fire at Tyson Foods' beef plant in Holcomb, Kansas earlier this month.
