Vegetarians and vegans higher stroke risk than meat eaters

A major UK study comparing the health effects of different diets has found that vegan and vegetarians are at a 20% higher risk of stroke than meat eaters, but, along with pescatarians, had a much lower risk of coronary heart disease (CHD).
