Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is pressing the Senate Appropriations Committee to include language into the FDA funding bill requiring the agency to issue formal enforcement discretion that could effectively allow the interstate sale of foods and dietary supplements that contain hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).
